January 7, 2020

I’m sure you’ve heard the news by now.

Julián Castro is joining failed Presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke in the loser’s corner after dropping out of the 2020 race for President.

Another anti-gun Democrat bites the dust!

But with several other anti-gun candidates still running, and with the 2020 elections right around the corner, it’s vital pro-gun Texans mobilize to put a STOP to their gun control agenda.

That’s why I’m hoping you’ll renew your 2020 TXGR membership right away.

Your membership will help give TXGR the resources needed to continue fighting back against the gun-grabbers in 2020.

Unfortunately, Castro dropping out of the Presidential race is NOT stopping candidates from jumping aboard the anti-gun bandwagon...

...especially with gun control puppet master Mike Bloomberg now running for President.

Then there’s Joe Biden -- the human gaffe machine -- who continues sticking his foot in his mouth over gun control.

At a recent campaign rally in New Hampshire, Biden declared you shouldn’t be allowed to have a magazine with 100 clips in it...whatever that means.1

In Seattle, Biden compared 9mm handguns holding more than 10 rounds to machine guns and bazookas, calling for an outright ban.2

He’s even on record saying magazines that hold multiple bullets -- as in more than one -- should be banned.3

It’s clear anti-gun candidates running for President haven’t the slightest clue about firearms.

Worse yet, the push for gun control isn’t only coming from anti-gun Democrats.

Both Governor Greg Abbott and Lt. Governor Dan Patrick continue capitulating the Michael Bloomberg-funded gun control lobby.

As you remember, Governor Abbott compared private sellers of firearms to terrorist suppliers, and Lt. Governor Patrick refuses to give up on Universal Gun Registration.

All the while Governor Abbott’s “Gun Control Roadshow” hearings continue taking place in cities all across the state.

Now that we are officially in an election year, it’s absolutely critical we grow and maintain our ranks of Second Amendment supporters.

And election season is the best way to ensure we can continue to pressure politicians and candidates to stand firm on our Second Amendment rights -- BEFORE they are elected or re-elected to office.

That’s why I’m counting on your renewed membership today!

I know it’s cliché, but the 2020 elections could be the most important elections for the state of Texas in recent history.

Especially after Bloomberg effectively purchased the Virginia State Legislature in November and national anti-gun Democrats like Nancy Pelosi declaring Texas “ground zero” for 2020.

So it’s absolutely vital all Texans know exactly where their candidates stand on the Second Amendment.

Your TXGR membership will ensure the political operations requirements and financial fortitude of our programs are met -- allowing even more pro-gun Texans to be mobilized into the fight.

With your support, I will utilize mail, email, social media, and good old fashioned door knocking to inform pro-gun Texans of the anti-gun actions and statements of their politicians.

But our success depends on TXGR memberships of Texans across the state.

And waiting until we are a few months from November to get active will only spell disaster for gun rights in Texas.

The billionaire financiers of the anti-gun Left are flooding money into Texas at this very moment.

We need to start fighting back RIGHT NOW if we are to hold off this anti-gun attack.

And that fight starts with the March primaries, where I hope to identify the STRONGEST candidates to fight for your gun rights come November.

That’s why I’m also hoping you’ll agree to go above and beyond by increasing your yearly commitment to $90.

I’m not sure what you can afford, and I know I’m asking a lot, especially right after the holidays.

But I’m sure you understand how important funding TXGR’s programs is to defending gun rights.

If $90 is just too much right now, would a one-time increase in membership dues by $30, for a total of $60, be possible?

If neither of these options work for you, please agree to renew your membership at $30 RIGHT AWAY.

Thank you for your continued support.

For Texas and Liberty,

Chris McNutt
Executive Director
Texas Gun Rights

P.S. With Nancy Pelosi and gun control groups targeting Texas in 2020, and the calls for gun control increasing after another attempted shooting, it is absolutely critical we prepare for the tough battles ahead.

With your 2020 TXGR membership up for renewal, I’m hoping you’ll increase your yearly TXGR commitment to $90 or even $60 to help mobilize pro-gun Texans ahead of the elections.

But if that’s too much at this time, please agree to at least renew your membership at $30 today.
