Stop Biden's Radical Agenda! | Sign No red Flag Gun Confiscation

Tell TX Legislators: Make Gun Rights a Priority in Austin!

Support Pro-2A Legislation in Texas!

With Republicans in control of the Texas Legislature, there’s no excuse—now is the time to fight for and restore our Second Amendment rights.

Texas Gun Rights is leading the charge on key pro-gun legislation in 2025, and we need your help to push lawmakers to act.

Use the form on this page to urge your elected official to TAKE ACTION on the priorities below:

🔥 BAN “RED FLAG” GUN CONFISCATION
  • SB 1362 (Hughes) & HB 162 (Cain) would ban unconstitutional Red Flag gun confiscation in Texas and prevent state agencies, counties, and cities from accepting federal gun control funds—including money authorized by John Cornyn & Joe Biden’s “Bipartisan Safer Communities Act” (2022)—to enact backdoor gun confiscation.
🔥 END DEADLY “GUN-FREE ZONES

“Gun-free zones (GFZ’s) do nothing but disarm law-abiding Texans while criminals ignore the rules. These bills would restore Texans’ right to self-defense in more places:

  • SB 83, Hall (LTC for public schools)
  • SB 1065, Hall (Prohibiting GFZ’s on public property)
  • HB 925, Cain (Removing automatic penalties for accidental carry in GFZ’s)
  • HB 1128, Isaac (Carry for election judges)
  • HB 1794, Tepper (Carry at polling places for LTC)
  • HB 1908, Schatzline (Restaurant Carry / 51% reform)
  • HB 2031, Richardson (Expanding tenant rights)
🔥 Civil Liability Protection for Gun Owners
  • SB 1730, Hall (Kyle’s law – Strengthening civil protections for justified use).
  • HB 170, Guillen (Kyle’s Law – Strengthening civil protections for justified use).
  • SB 2620, Creighton – Adding civil protections for businesses that allow law-abiding gun owners to carry on their property).
  • HB 644, C. Bell (Adding civil protections for businesses that allow law-abiding gun owners to carry on their property).
🔥 DECRIMINALIZING SHORT-BARREL FREARMS

Texas law is currently more restrictive than federal law when it comes to SBR’s & SBS’s. Not only that, the ATF has made rifle, pistol, and SBR classifications so convoluted that state law enforcement often find themselves confused on differences between these very similar firearms.

  • HB 259, Hayes & SB 1596, Hagenbuch would put Texas in line with Federal law and prevent state confusion.
🔥 ELIMINATE SALES TAX ON FIREARMS & AMMO

Texans shouldn’t have to pay extra to exercise their Second Amendment rights.

  • HB 920, Bumgarner & SB 1603, Hinojosa would end the sales tax on firearms, ammunition, and accessories, making it more affordable for Texans to defend themselves.
🔥 SECOND AMENDMENT PRESERVATION ACT (SAPA)

The state of Texas (and municipalities) should NOT enforce Federal gun control laws that are more restrictive than state law.

  • HB 3934, Hopper would provide Texas with the tools to exercise its 10th Amendment rights to protect the Second Amendment, and prohibit state & local resources from being used to enforce gun control that is more restrictive than the laws of the state of Texas.
