Anti-gun Democrat ahead of Trump in Texas

I’m sure you’ve heard the news by now.
Anti-gun former Vice President Joe Biden is ahead of President Trump in Texas, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.
In the same poll, Trump is neck-and-neck with gun control touting U.S. Senator’s Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders.
And Trump barely leads failed-U.S. Senate Candidate Beto O’Rourke by 3 points!
All of these Trump challengers are asserting gun control as a central focus of their campaigns in 2020.
Joe Biden declared on his campaign website that he pledges to “defeat [the gun lobby] — again — in order to make our schools safer.”
On Sanders’ campaign website, he named expanding Brady-checks, prohibiting the sale of standard capacity magazines and even implementing an outright ban on common sporting rifles as pillars of his gun control platform.
Senator Warren echoed her support of these policies during a CNN town hall in March.
Needless to say, the next few months are critical for mobilizing pro-gun Texans to put a STOP to the anti-gun agenda.
That’s why I need your help to identify more pro-gun Texans to help us DOUBLE THE TROOPS in 2020 and fight back against the anti-gun agenda!
Election polls must be taken with a grain of salt, but the tight margins in Texas are troubling.
If you recall, Trump barely eked out a win in Texas against Hillary Clinton in 2016 with only 52% of the vote.
And Ted Cruz threaded the needle against Beto in 2018 with only 50.9% of the vote!
Due to the tight margins, gun control zealots like Michael Bloomberg and Nancy Pelosi are energized to create another anti-gun “blue wave” in the Lone Star State.
In fact, Nancy Pelosi already declared Texas’ suburbs as ground zero for 2020.
They’re banking on high turnout from an anti-gun Presidential candidate to have down-ballot success, flipping the State Legislature to Democrat overnight.
And it’s a reality that is much closer than you may realize.
If you recall, Democrats held control of the Texas House until 2002.
Before that, Democrats held power in the House for DECADES — since Reconstruction!
If you witnessed our last legislative session, it seems establishment Republicans are preparing to hand control back to the Democrats on a silver platter…
Anti-gun Democrat Joe Moody is the top Texas House Democrat, and he is being groomed by “Republican” Speaker Dennis Bonnen as his successor.
As I’m sure you’ll remember, Moody was the author of “Red Flag” gun confiscation orders, the #1 legislative priority for Michael Bloomberg and his cronies nationwide.
During a recent interview with the Austin American-Statesman, Speaker Bonnen stated:
“I think Texas would be very blessed if there was a Democrat majority and Joe Moody wanted to lead the House”
Even worse, according to the Houston Chronicle, Speaker Bonnen threatened political retribution against any Republican who attempts to flip Democrat-held House seats in 2020.
If this type of “leadership” doesn’t send shivers down your spine, I don’t know what will.
So will you help TXGR DOUBLE THE TROOPS to identify more pro-gun Texans, to help us fight the anti-gun agenda in 2020?
You see, TXGR needs to mobilize at least 200,000 additional Texans over the next few months in order to lobby our candidates for office in 2020 to support the Second Amendment.
And there is no better way to engage them than during the primary elections while they are most sensitive to public opinion!
In a state of 28 million, these pro-gun Texans won’t be hard to find…
…but our detailed grassroots accountability program could cost up to $250,000.
The truth is, I already have every dollar earmarked for vital election year programs. And I don’t want to take a single dollar away from those critical efforts.
Not only that, Texas Gun Rights is still considering potential legal action against the Texas Speaker of the House, Dennis Bonnen.
But I can’t do any of it without the support of folks like you.
My goal is to raise the $250,000 it will take to reach out and mobilize the additional 200,000 pro-gun Texans over the next few months.
But I can’t do it without you.
