Stop Biden's Radical Agenda! | Sign No red Flag Gun Confiscation

Senate CR Ends Shutdown While Keeping ATF Flush With Cash

The U.S. Senate recently slammed through another business-as-usual Continuing Resolution, ending the brief government shutdown.
But, once again, they’re protecting the one federal agency that has spilled more political blood of innocent gun owners than any other: the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Yes, it’s true: with the Biden Administration gone, several of the most outrageous Biden-ATF policies have been rolled back.

Forced Reset Trigger prosecutions, the stabilizing brace rule, and several “creative” rulemakings have been struck down, rescinded, or neutralized through lawsuits and executive reversals.

But the Senate’s CR proves one thing unmistakably: the ATF — no matter who sits in the Oval Office — remains fully funded, fully operational, and fully capable of abusing gun owners whenever Washington gives the green light.

And recently, the Senate gave them ALL the green lights they needed.

ATF Funding: Fully Intact, No Questions Asked

The CR keeps ATF’s budget exactly where the entrenched bureaucracy wants it.

No cuts.
No restrictions.
No clawbacks for years of illegal rulemaking, rogue prosecutions, and violence against gun owners’ constitutional rights.

Republicans could have forced a reckoning — especially now, when the agency’s legal authority is collapsing in court cases nationwide.

Instead, they folded. Again.

One Bright Spot: VA Gun-Ban Defunding Extended

The Senate did extend the long-standing prohibition preventing the VA from dumping the names of veterans deemed “mentally incompetent” into NICS without due process.

This rider has saved thousands of veterans from being stripped of their gun rights by bureaucratic paperwork rather than a judge and jury.

But let’s be clear: this was not courage. This was not principle. This was not leadership.

This was political self-preservation — because no politician wants to explain to millions of veterans why they helped the federal government confiscate their guns.

The real story is the agency that DIDN’T get reined in.

ATF’s Policies May Shift — But the ATF Machine Remains

Sure, some Biden-era rules are dead. Good. But the ATF’s abusive DNA hasn’t changed:

They STILL maintain a de facto national gun registry of ONE BILLION RECORDS through digitized 4473s.

They STILL defend other anti-gun rules on the books in court.

When Democrats retake control, the will STILL rewrite “laws” from behind cubicle walls — and dare the courts to stop them.

This ATF has an institutional culture of hostility toward the Second Amendment.

The Time for “Reform” Is Over

For decades, politicians have promised “reform” — more oversight, better training, new leadership, internal reviews, structural changes.
Nothing changed.

Why?

Because the ATF cannot be “reformed” any more than a rattlesnake can be “tamed.”

The only solution for an agency built on abuse, fear, and unconstitutional authority is abolition.

That is why Texas Gun Rights is not playing the D.C. game of “reforming” a weaponized bureaucracy.

We are fighting for the only course that protects gun owners permanently: Abolish the ATF — and end the era of bureaucratic gun control once and for all.

But the Senate’s CR is a perfect snapshot of Washington’s corruption:

They handed the ATF a full paycheck.

They avoided accountability.

They preserved the machinery of federal gun control.

And they hope gun owners won’t notice because the White House changed hands.

But gun owners DO notice. And Texas Gun Rights isn’t letting the political class whitewash the ATF’s legacy of abuse just because a friendlier administration pulled back a few of their worst policies.

ATF’s power remains.
ATF’s budget remains.
ATF’s threat remains.

And until the day Congress pulls the plug on this rogue agency, the fight continues — without compromise.

Will you help us pressure Congress to ABOLISH THE ATF once and for all?
