Stop Biden's Radical Agenda! | Sign No red Flag Gun Confiscation

Texas Gun Rights Won Big in 2025 — And the Gun-Grabbers Are Already Plotting Their Comeback

If there’s one lesson gun owners should take from 2025, it’s this: when Texas Gun Rights fights, gun owners win.

Despite relentless opposition from the gun-confiscation lobby, hostile media coverage, and obstruction from establishment politicians, Texas Gun Rights delivered a string of victories that reshaped the battlefield for the Second Amendment — not just in Texas, but nationally.

These wins didn’t happen by accident.

They happened because grassroots gun owners refused to back down.

Five Major Victories the Gun-Grabbers Tried to Stop — and Failed

In a year when the political class expected gun owners to retreat, Texas Gun Rights went on offense.

First, Texas became one of the strongest states in the nation to ban “Red Flag” gun confiscation laws — stopping a scheme that would have allowed firearms to be seized without due process, without charges, and without a conviction.

It was a direct hit against one of the gun-confiscation lobby’s most dangerous tools.

Second, Texas Gun Rights shut down a quiet but insidious effort to impose a foster parent gun registration scheme, ensuring Texans never have to choose between protecting children in need and protecting their constitutional rights.

Third, the legislature moved to prohibit sham municipal gun “buybacks” — taxpayer-funded political theater that does nothing to stop criminals while funneling money to anti-gun bureaucracies.

Fourth, Texas took a major step toward short-barreled firearm decriminalization, paving the way for national reform and undermining decades of fear-based regulation under the National Firearms Act — something the establishment insisted could never be touched.

Finally, Texas Gun Rights secured a historic settlement with the Department of Justice, ending ATF prosecutions of forced reset trigger owners and restoring the right of Americans nationwide to lawfully possess them.

Each of these victories was fought tooth and nail by the gun-confiscation lobby.

And the gun-confiscation lobby lost.

The Fight Isn’t Slowing Down — It’s Accelerating

For gun owners tempted to take a victory lap, 2026 offers a sobering reminder: the next fight is already here.

The first major test arrives January 31, with a special election in Senate District 9 in Tarrant County.

Texas Gun Rights PAC endorsed Leigh Wambsganss, a pro-Second Amendment fighter facing off against anti-gun Democrat Taylor Rehmet, a candidate backed by national gun-confiscation interests.

Low turnout. Razor-thin margins. Enormous consequences.

Then, on February 17, early voting begins for the March 3 Republican Primary, where gun owners will have the chance to hold so-called “Republicans” like John Cornyn, Tony Gonzales, and Dan Crenshaw accountable for betraying the Second Amendment when it mattered most.

And thanks to redistricting, five congressional districts are now in play — opening the door for uncompromising pro-gun leaders like Briscoe Cain to take the fight directly to Washington.

The Gun-Confiscation Lobby Is Already Moving

There’s no mystery about what comes next.

The gun-confiscation lobby is already mobilizing. The establishment is already spending. The clock is already ticking.

The good news is Texas Gun Rights now has more candidates on the record with uncompromising pro-Second Amendment positions than ever before — and will be unveiling the “One Big Beautiful Ballot” soon.

But that alone isn’t enough. Gun owners have to be informed. Mobilized. Activated. And that takes serious resources.

Momentum Is a Weapon — If Gun Owners Use It

Victories don’t defend themselves.

Every dollar invested now determines whether gun owners press their advantage — or surrender momentum back to the same politicians and activists who want to gut the Second Amendment piece by piece.

Texas Gun Rights proved in 2025 that the gun-confiscation lobby can be beaten.

The question heading into 2026 is simple: will gun owners finish the job?

Because if they do, the next year could be even bigger than the last.

And if they don’t, the other side is more than happy to take back what it lost.

Gun owners have seen this movie before.

This time, they have the chance to write a different ending.
