Constitutional Carry House Bill 1927 passed out of committee in the Texas Senate yesterday after a nearly 10-hour long public hearing!

April 30, 2021

We are in the home stretch.

Constitutional Carry House Bill 1927 passed out of committee in the Texas Senate yesterday after a nearly 10-hour long public hearing!

And thanks to your continued pressure, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick is now promising a vote on the Senate floor next week!

I can’t tell you how critically important it is to keep up the pressure so we can get Constitutional Carry across the finish line!

Click here to contact your State Senator and urge them to pass Constitutional Carry HB 1927 — WITHOUT anti-gun amendments!

Your Texas Gun Rights faced off against Bloomberg-funded gun control activists and Police Union top brass — who were doing all they could to try and kill Constitutional Carry.

So when I testified to the Senate Committee, I delivered the following message: “Pass Constitutional Carry” and “Don’t California My Texas!”

You can watch my testimony below:

Thanks to your non-stop phone calls, emails, and even visits to the Capitol, your politicians are finally understanding that pro-gun Texans will accept nothing less than Constitutional Carry in 2021.

That’s why Governor Greg Abbott and many Republican Senators have recently stated they will now support HB 1927 — after being silent on Constitutional Carry for years!

And that’s exactly why House Bill 1927 was passed out of committee yesterday WITHOUT any amendments to water it down.

Even though the cards are starting to become stacked in our favor, there are STILL some Republican Senators refusing to take a public position on Constitutional Carry!

That is why it is critically important you contact your senator to support HB 1927 TODAY!

With twenty other states having Constitutional Carry as law of the land, there is no reason Texas should continue being left in the dust.

Thank you for everything you continue to do!

TXGR Abbott Will Sign

BREAKING: Gov. Abbott signals support for Constitutional Carry!

BREAKING: Gov. Abbott signals support for Constitutional Carry!

April 28, 2021

Your pressure is working!

Governor Greg Abbott has finally broken his silence on Constitutional Carry in Texas.

On a radio interview Tuesday, Abbott stated that he supported Constitutional Carry and would sign HB 1927 if sent to his desk.

Clearly, Abbott is feeling the heat from Texans and sees there is no room for Republican legislators who don’t support Constitutional Carry.

Constitutional Carry is a simple concept: if you can legally possess a gun, you should be able to carry it without a government permission slip.

HB 1927, the Texas Constitutional Carry bill, passed through the Texas House and is now in the Senate, where Lt. Governor Dan Patrick attempted to stall the bill, saying that it did not have enough support from Republican Senators to pass.

But thanks to the massive outcry from Texas gun owners like you, HB 1927 was moved forward, and Republican Senators one after another are publicly pledging their support for the bill.

But there are still some Republican Senators refusing to support Constitutional Carry, and they could kill the best chance Texas has ever had of passing this crucial legislation if they do not reverse course.

You see, for a bill to be heard on the Senate floor, eighteen senators must consent to it being heard.

That is the exact number of Republican Senators.

That is why I need you to contact Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and your Senator telling them: “Support HB 1927 now! No anti-gun amendments!”

HB 1927 is set for a hearing tomorrow in the Senate Special Committee on Constitutional Issues.

This committee is stacked with Republicans who have publically expressed their support for HB 1927, so there is no excuse not to move Constitutional Carry out of committee immediately.

But the job isn’t over yet.

It is more important than ever to stay on the lookout for attempts by the anti-gun establishment to tank Constitutional Carry by watering down the bill with compromise amendments.

So please, contact your senators and make sure you tell them, “Pass HB 1927 with no anti-gun amendments!”

After years fighting for Constitutional Carry in Texas, we are very close to seeing the efforts of you and gun owners all over the state pay off.

That is why we must stay more vigilant than ever and make sure Texas Senators know that they MUST support Constitutional Carry or face the wrath of pro-gun voters come election season.

Twenty other states already have Constitutional Carry, including neighboring Oklahoma and Arkansas. And Louisiana could soon join the list!

This would have Texas almost entirely surrounded by Constitutional Carry states, while the Lone Star State lags behind.

Don’t let that happen.

Contact Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and your Senator and tell them “Pass Constitutional Carry NOW! No anti-gun amendments!”

I am counting on you.

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, who leads the Texas Senate, famously stated there are not enough votes for Constitutional Carry HB 1927 in the Texas Senate.

Of course, the buck stops with him and he alone should be held responsible if Constitutional Carry isn’t taken up for a vote on the Texas Senate floor.

But if you are left wondering which Republican State Senators have NOT taken a public position on Constitutional Carry HB 1927, here they are:

  • SD 3 – Robert Nichols (512) 463-0103

BREAKING: Constitutional Carry hearing scheduled in Texas Senate!

BREAKING: Constitutional Carry hearing scheduled in Texas Senate!

April 27, 2021

I’ve got an important update so please let me cut to the chase.

Constitutional Carry HB 1927 is scheduled for a hearing in the Texas Senate Special Committee on Constitutional Issues this Thursday!

With only 34 legislative days remaining, it is critical this bill not only gets voted out of committee but also out of the full Senate and onto Governor Abbott’s desk.

So please tell Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and Chairman Charles Schwertner to pass HB 1927 without delay:

Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick (512) 463-0001

Senator Charles Schwertner (512) 463-0105

Your message can be as simple as:

Please pass Constitutional Carry HB 1927 without compromise or delay! Texas Gun Rights will keep me informed of your actions.

I can’t stress the importance of every single phone call.

In fact, the Senate taking up HB 1927 in committee this Thursday is PROOF your actions are working!

Let me explain…

After Constitutional Carry, HB 1927, passed the Texas House of Representatives, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick threw up roadblocks — proclaiming the Republican-controlled Senate “lacked the Republican votes” to pass the bill.

But thanks to the near-instantaneous onslaught of your phone calls, emails, and petitions, Patrick realized pro-gun Texans wouldn’t settle for anything less than TRUE Constitutional Carry.

In fact, Patrick quickly reversed course by referring HB 1927 to a friendly committee.

Now, HB 1927 is scheduled for a hearing in the Senate Special Committee on Constitutional Issues this Thursday at 9am.

Not only that, Committee Chairman Charles Schwertner has taken the lead as the Senate co-sponsor of HB 1927, which gives the bill very good chances.

The stars may very well be aligning for passage of Constitutional Carry in Texas…

But we must not let up on an ounce of pressure.

As the saying goes: “the squeaky wheel gets the grease.”

When it comes to Constitutional Carry, YOU are the squeaky wheel!

Without your continued pressure, Lt. Governor Patrick is all but certain to kill this critical pro-gun bill.

Remember, it was ONLY because of your continued pressure that Patrick wizened up and allowed HB 1927 to be referred to a friendly committee.

If we let up now, Constitutional Carry may never make it to the Senate Floor at all.

That’s why it’s critical you call Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Committee Chairman Charles Schwertner TODAY!

After HB 1927 received such strong bipartisan support in the Texas House of Representatives, there is absolutely NO REASON Republican Senators should have weak knees or try opposing the bill!

And that’s the exact message we’ve been delivering to lawmakers in the Senate for the past two weeks

Even better, we teamed up with Lt. Col. Allen West — Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas — to continue pouring the pressure on Gov. Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, and the Texas Senate to pass HB 1927.

For the first time ever, we may finally be at a tipping point…

With your continued help, Texas may very well become the 21st Constitutional Carry state.

That’s why we MUST double down on encouraging Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and the Senate to quickly pass HB 1927: no compromise. No delays!

Thank you for everything you do.

Texas Gun rights and the National Association for Gun rights is teaming up with Lt. Col. Allen West to make Texas the 21st Constitutional Carry state!

So if you haven’t already, sign your Constitutional Carry petition to Governor Abbott, Lt. Governor Patrick, and your State Senator — demanding that they pass Constitutional Carry HB 1927 at once!

You can read our recent alert from Lt. Col. Allen West below:

Fellow patriot,

A strong leader never surrenders when absolute victory is within his grasp.

Unfortunately, that is precisely what is taking place in Austin right now. Unless you and I act immediately, we could lose our best chance to restore gun rights in Texas.

At this very moment, Texas is closer than it has ever been to passing true Constitutional Carry. With H.B. 1927 having already sailed through the Texas House with bi-partisan support, all eyes are now on the Senate.

So before you read on, please take a moment to sign your Constitutional Carry Petition right away.

As the fight for gun rights in the Texas Senate ramps up, several Republicans are already showing signs of hesitation.

Even Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick recently said, “Constitutional Carry doesn’t have the votes.” 1

Don’t be mistaken . . . we can do this.

That is why I am teaming up with the National Association for Gun Rights to collect petitions urging Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and Governor Greg Abbott that we must strike when the iron is hot.

All our efforts will be for nothing if H.B. 1927 doesn’t get a vote on the floor of the Senate.

The time is now.

Your signed petition, along with thousands of others just like it, will be delivered directly to Lt. Governor Patrick to show him just how many red-blooded Americans want this done.

Weakness is not an option. We need all hands on deck to push H.B. 1927 over the finish line.

It is up to pro-gun grassroots supporters like you to make it crystal clear to the political class that they need to take action in this landmark fight for liberty.

So join me and my friends at the National Association for Gun rights send a message by signing your Constitutional Carry Petition immediately.

As you may know, I am working overtime all over the state to see this bill through.

This has been a coordinated effort for years, but we cannot afford to wait another second to get this done.

Your support means everything.

Even a simple signed petition speaks volumes to our elected officials. It plainly shows them the masses will not stand for anything less than true Constitutional Carry.

Excuses are already flying around left and right, trying to find reasons not to push forward. But, to be frank, those making excuses don’t have a leg to stand on.

Lt. Gov. Patrick should prove his leadership and push Constitutional Carry to the floor, so we can put the State Senators on record.

The truth is, there is no reason for the Senate not to pass H.B. 1927.

With firm Republican control, the votes are there. Now, they just need to act.

But that’s why I need you to sign your petition right away.

Texas has a reputation as being amongst the best Second Amendment states in the country.

Yet, the Lone Star State lags behind 20 states, including Oklahoma and Kansas, when it comes to Constitutional Carry.

Here in the state of Texas, we should not have to ask for a permit to carry the firearm that we are legally able to have because of our constitutional right.

Trust me when I say, all eyes are on Texas.

We cannot afford to let this opportunity slip through our fingers.

Thankfully, the National Association for Gun Rights is already fighting tooth-and-nail, mobilizing the pro-gun grassroots, and turning up the pressure on the politicians.

But we need all hands on deck in order to push Constitutional Carry across the finish line.

So sign your Constitutional Carry Petition to Lt. Governor Dan Patrick and Gov. Greg Abbott right away.

I am honored to serve you, and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all the support you’ve given me over the years.

Thank you for taking action today.

Dan Patrick blocking Constitutional Carry?

Dan Patrick blocking Constitutional Carry?

April 20, 2021

I’m disappointed, but I can’t say that I am surprised.

After Constitutional Carry passed with strong bipartisan support in the Texas House, Republicans in the Senate are trying to lower expectations on the bill passing and may even be working to outright kill it!

According to Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, who oversees the Texas Senate, “Constitutional Carry doesn’t have the votes.”1

This is a lame attempt by a weak leader to shift responsibility off himself for Constitutional Carry dying under his watch.

As anyone in a leadership role understands, and to anyone paying attention to Texas politics, the buck stops with Dan Patrick!

We can’t allow his excuse-making to ruin our best opportunity to make Texas the next Constitutional Carry state.

It’s time to double down our pressure.

So please call Lt. Governor Dan Patrick at (512) 463-0001, and encourage him to bring HB 1927 to the Senate floor for a vote RIGHT AWAY.

Don’t let him fool you.

Patrick has the power to whip his Republican Senators in line to bring Constitutional Carry legislation to the Senate floor.

For example, Senator Joan Huffman is widely speculated as being one of the Republican defectors on Constitutional Carry — yet Lt. Gov. Patrick is protecting her and even appointed her as Chair and Vice-Chair to three important Senate Committees.

That means Patrick can strip her of her power if she refuses to allow Constitutional Carry to the floor for a vote, which is a top priority of the Republican Party of Texas.

Then there is Senator Drew Springer, who publicly opposed Constitutional Carry as a member of the Texas House.

Of course, as soon as he decided to run for Senate last fall, he came out with strong support of Constitutional Carry after his opponent Shelley Luther made it a top campaign priority.

But now that Springer is safely in office, his staff is telling constituents that he does NOT support Constitutional Carry (HB 1927).

You can’t make this stuff up!

Finally, we have Senator Kel Seliger.

According to the Texas Tribune, Seliger stated “it was too early to say whether he would block the bill from coming to the floor or vote against it if it made it to the floor.”2

Of course, Patrick appointed Seliger as Vice Chair of the important Senate Transportation Committee and represents a district that voted 78% in favor of President Trump.

There is no reason the Lt. Governor can’t bring these Republican Senators in line and in support of Constitutional Carry.

That’s why it is critical you call Dan Patrick at (512) 463-0001, and tell him to get HB 1927 to the Senate floor immediately!

Rumors swirling in the Capitol suggested that Patrick was drumming up big-city law enforcement opposition to HB 1927 — before it was voted out of the Texas House.

He hoped this opposition would kill the bill before getting to the Senate so he and his colleagues wouldn’t have to deal with it.

But now that Constitutional Carry made its way to the Senate, Lt. Governor Dan Patrick is publicly inviting anti-gun, big city police chiefs and the establishment gun lobby to the table to discuss a “compromise” on Constitutional Carry.

In his own words, he wants to “find a path that a majority of senators will vote to pass.”

But what Dan Patrick MUST realize is pro-gun Texans are sick and tired of establishment Republicans killing Constitutional Carry for the past decade.

And pro-gun Texans won’t accept anything less than Constitutional Carry in 2021!

That’s why it’s critical you call Dan Patrick and encourage him to take up HB 1927 right away.

Seven Democrats bucked their party and voted for Constitutional Carry HB 1927 in the Texas House.

There is absolutely no excuse any Republican in the Texas Senate should oppose this pro-gun measure.

If Constitutional Carry dies in the Texas Senate, it comes solely at the hands of Dan Patrick and his weak-kneed counterparts.

That means it’s time to double down on our pressure.

Thank you for all that you continue to do!

TXGR Schaefer Lays Out HB 1927

Constitutional Carry passes Texas House!

Constitutional Carry passes Texas House!

April 16, 2021

Constitutional Carry has finally been voted out of the Texas House 84-56!

It will now move to the Texas Senate.

That’s why it’s absolutely critical for pro-gun Texans to call Lt. Governor Dan Patrick at (512) 463-0001, and tell him to take up HB 1927 in the Senate IMMEDIATELY.

HB 1927 originally was only a limited “permitless carry” bill that would still require a permit to carry in many situations.

But thanks to your hard work, pro-gun amendments were added to make HB 1927 Constitutional Carry!

Two TXGR-authored amendments were passed improving this bill.

Representative Bryan Slaton presented an amendment guaranteeing foster parents’ right to carry in their vehicle without an LTC, and bill author Representative Matt Schaefer introduced an amendment banning municipalities from requiring an LTC for legal gun owners.

These amendments were crucial to fixing HB 1927 so otherwise law-abiding citizens wouldn’t accidentally run afoul of the law.

In addition to these, two other TXGR-backed criminal justice amendments passed.

One expunges prior convictions of otherwise legal gun owners carrying without a permit, and the other guarantees gun owners cannot be detained for simply carrying a gun.

Unfortunately, some good amendments were not accepted by the House.

Representative Jeff Cason offered an amendment guaranteeing military-aged adults 18 through 20 equal right to carry without a permit, but because this amendment was not accepted, HB 1927 will only apply to Texans 21 and older.

Representative Kyle Biedermann — who led the way for Constitutional Carry with his own House Bill 1238 — offered an amendment cleaning up Campus Carry by ensuring Texans on college campuses would also not be required by law to have a permit in order to carry.

Unfortunately, like Cason’s amendment, this one also failed.

Thankfully, even without these two amendments, Texas’ Constitutional Carry law would be one of the best in the nation if HB 1927 passes the Senate in its current form.

Now that the bill is headed to the Texas Senate, rumors in the capitol suggest Lt. Governor Dan Patrick has been working behind the scenes to kill HB 1297 BEFORE it was voted out of the House.

In fact, capitol insiders say he was behind the press conference by big-city law enforcement top brass and leftist police chiefs who attacked HB 1927.

Worse, rumors also suggest Patrick had Senators ON THE FLOOR trying to convince lawmakers to not add any pro—gun amendments to the bill.

That’s why it’s critical you call Dan Patrick at (512) 463-0001, and encourage him to take up HB 1927 right away and pass it quickly with no amendments — no compromise!

Seven Democrats bucked their party and voted for Constitutional Carry in the Texas House, so there is absolutely no excuse any Republican in the Texas Senate has to oppose this pro-gun measure.

But we are closer to making Texas the next Constitutional Carry state than we have ever been, and we would not be here without the constant pressure and financial support of our members and supporters.

Let’s finish the fight.

Constitutional Carry vote this Thursday!

Constitutional Carry vote this Thursday!

April 13, 2021

Time is of the essence, so please allow me to get straight to the point.

Permitless Carry House Bill 1927, authored by Representative Matt Schaefer, is scheduled for a vote in the Texas House of Representatives this Thursday!

While this is great news, this bill MUST be amended to treat ALL law-abiding gun owners equal under the law so Texas can become the 21st Constitutional Carry state!

Click here to contact your State Representative and State Senator!

Just click the link, make sure your information is correct, and then hit submit on the pre-drafted message.

Constitutional Carry simply states that if you can legally possess a handgun, you can carry it — open or concealed — to protect yourself and your loved ones without having to beg for government permission.

Under true Constitutional Carry, ALL law-abiding gun owners should be treated equal under the law — and there should be NO confusion about who should be allowed to carry or where they can carry.

That means every law-abiding citizen who is legal to own or possess a handgun can carry it in areas where it’s already legal for licensed gun owners to carry.

It’s that simple.

Even better, the License to Carry system stays in place as OPTIONAL for reciprocity to carry in other states!

Constitutional Carry is law of the land in 20 states, including neighboring Oklahoma and Arkansas, so there is NO reason Texas shouldn’t become the next Constitutional Carry state.

But HB 1927 MUST be amended and voted out of the House before Texas can become the 21st Constitutional Carry state!

So please contact your State Representative and State Senator, encouraging them to fix HB 1927 and vote FOR its passage to the Texas Senate!

As I type this email to you, our call center is connecting hundreds of constituents to the offices of House Republican leadership — and they’re urging them to fix HB 1927 and make it TRUE Constitutional Carry.

Not only that, we’ve blanketed the state with nearly 100,000 pieces of mail in recent weeks, encouraging politicians to take quick action on Constitutional Carry.

We can’t do this without you.

Thank you for your continued support!

You won’t believe this!

You won’t believe this!

April 9, 2021

You can’t make this stuff up.

Constitutional Carry bills HB 1238 and HB 2900 are sitting idle in the Texas House of Representatives.

As I previously reported, in spite of pro-gun Texans overwhelmingly testifying in support of Constitutional Carry, the Republican-controlled House Homeland Security and Public Safety Committee advanced watered-down permitless carry instead.

But that’s not all!

While President Biden was declaring his executive actions for gun control from high upon his throne in Washington, D.C., the same Republican committee in Austin was holding hearings for gun control bills!

Believe me, I wish it weren’t true…

That’s why it’s critical your lawmakers hear from you with a resounding message: stop pushing gun control and pass Constitutional Carry!

So if you haven’t already, please sign your Constitutional Carry petition TODAY.

Gun Control Lobby-backed HB 118 (Universal Gun Registration) and HB 791 (BAN of open carry at public demonstrations) were both heard in the House Homeland Security and Public Safety Committee on Thursday.

HB 791 would make you a criminal for open carrying your firearm if anyone decides to hold a “public demonstration.”

Over the past year, the rioting and looting we witnessed across the country and referred to as “mostly peaceful protests” can constitute as a public demonstration.

This is clearly just another attempt by radical gun control fanatics to find excuses to harm gun owners like you and me.

But that’s not all.

HB 118 mirrors the Federal Universal Gun Registration already passed by the U.S. House of Representatives.

So in case H.R. 8 never clears the U.S. Senate, there is STILL a chance it could be enacted in Austin.

How absurd!

Worse, Republicans like Lt. Governor Dan Patrick have endorsed similar Universal Gun Registration schemes in the past.

That means we could be one tragedy away from a Republican “compromise” on gun control.

But I don’t think you need me to tell you that registration is always the first step to outright confiscation.

Let me be clear: the best way to stop Texas from descending into the pit of California-style gun control is to go on the offensive.

So instead of placating the Left by holding anti-gun hearings, Texas Republicans should focus on passing pro-gun Constitutional Carry legislation! Period.

In fact, after being stabbed in the back by Republicans for the past several years, anything short of the passage of Constitutional Carry in 2021 is unacceptable.

That’s why your Constitutional Carry petition to your elected officials is so important.

If you can legally own a firearm, you should be able to carry it openly or concealed without jumping through hoops and paying expensive fees for government permission.

That’s why I am counting on you and thousands of other pro-gun Texans to tell your legislators that they must support TRUE Constitutional Carry.

Over the past 6 years, Texas Gun Rights has been leading the charge to make Texas the next Constitutional Carry state.

Because of the pressure you applied to politicians, multiple Constitutional Carry and limited “permitless” carry bills were filed for the first time ever.

Your impact is clearly making a difference.

Now, we must continue turning up the pressure on lawmakers to get Constitutional Carry past the finish line!

And please forward this email to all your pro-gun friends to join the fight.

I can’t do it without you.

Constitutional Carry has stalled in the Texas House Homeland Security Committee!

In spite of pro-gun Texans overwhelmingly testifying in favor of TRUE Constitutional Carry House Bills 1238 & 2900, Republicans in the Texas Legislature are derailing it by pushing watered-down “permitless carry” House Bills 1911 & 1927.

And as I’ve previously warned you, they’re getting the blessing of the establishment gun lobby to do so…

It’s critical we send a loud message to the Republican establishment: pass TRUE Constitutional Carry, NO COMPROMISE!

Click here to email key members of Republican Leadership.

Licenses shouldn’t grant special privileges.

Under Constitutional Carry, any law-abiding citizen can carry in areas where someone with a license is allowed to carry.

This uniformity is crucial for preventing otherwise law-abiding citizens from accidentally running afoul of the law by carrying in areas they are prohibited.

But as currently drafted, HB 1911 and HB 1927 creates a patchwork of confusing laws and MUST be amended to keep law-abiding gun owners out of trouble!

Not only that, these bills also restrict single mothers and military-aged men between the ages of 18 and 20 from carrying.

Since Federal law allows law-abiding citizens at least 18 years old to possess a handgun, there is no reason they should be restricted from carrying it to protect themselves and their families!

That’s why it’s critical Republican leadership understand these important differences between Constitutional Carry and the compromise carry bills being pushed in its place.

Iowa became the 19th Constitutional Carry state just last week.

With Tennessee on track to becoming the 20th state to sign Constitutional Carry into law, Texas is far from being a leader on the Second Amendment…

Since anti-gun Democrats DON’T control the State Legislature, you’d think it would be easy for Texas to become the next Constitutional Carry state.

Yet, Texas Republicans are trying to appease anti-gun Democrats and weak-kneed members of their own party by pushing watered-down legislation.

And while Republican Governors of other states quickly sign Constitutional Carry into law, Governor Abbott is staying silent.

In fact, Governor Abbott has done NOTHING but make vague statements about making Texas a “Second Amendment Sanctuary State” without lifting a finger for Constitutional Carry.

Actions speak louder than words, and right now Texas Republicans are acting like anti-gun Democrats!
Make no mistake, we never expected this to be an easy fight…

After all, anything that’s worth fighting for is NEVER easy!

But it is because of YOUR past activism that we have made such progress year after year.

If you recall, it was thanks to YOUR pressure that we EXPOSED Republican Speaker Dennis Bonnen as the man behind the death of Constitutional Carry in 2019.

And thanks to you making him crack, we now get to call him FORMER Speaker Dennis Bonnen.

It is also because of your past activism that multiple Constitutional Carry and limited “permitless carry” bills were filed in 2021 — so your legislators understand they must DO SOMETHING.

Now, we must make sure they don’t get away with doing the bare minimum.

Pro-gun Texans expect nothing less than TRUE Constitutional Carry legislation in 2021!

With your steadfast support, we can make Texas the next state to pass this pro-gun, pro-freedom legislation in America.

That’s why TXGR is on the frontlines fighting for Constitutional Carry, to restore your right to defend your life and your loved ones without having to first beg for government permission.

No other organization has been mobilizing grassroots, gun-owning activists to fight for Constitutional Carry in Texas over the past 6 years like TXGR.

But our strength to FIGHT and WIN comes from YOU.

Being the state’s premier No Compromise gun rights lobby — defending your gun rights and pushing for Constitutional Carry 24/7 — requires a lot of resources.

So after you contact your lawmakers, I hope you will make your most generous contribution to help us keep fighting in Austin.
